Return Policy

Smiley Shoper Returns Policy

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase you make, so our Returns Policy and process should give you great peace of mind. This policy forms part of the Smiley Shoper Terms and Conditions. Smiley Shoper is committed to operating in line with the Consumer Protection Act and all policies are subject to the applicable law.

Our returns process depends on the kind of product you purchased.

What items can you return and when?

Take note: any items return due to Smiley Shoper's fault or mistake we will collect free of charge but if the customer decides the no longer want the items and fall under the 7 days return cooling off period the will charge 25% handling fee applied unless you convince us otherwise.

1. If our purchase isn't what you had in mind, log a return within 7 days and we will either replace the item or process a refund on your behalf.

If you change your mind and wish to return an item after days, a collection fee may be applicable.

2. Returns within 6 months of delivery. (Your product is covered by Smiley Shoper)

If your item is faulty, will need full packaging and prepare for pick up. if you have lost the packaging unfortunately we can't process the return

3. Returns 6 months or more after delivery. (Check your manual for the warranty duration)

If your product is under warranty (you will find this information in the manual) You will be require to contact us or the supplier of the product with full receipt of purchase

Replacements, repairs and refunds can take up to 14 working days. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of your return.

If your product is no longer under warranty and an extended warranty was not purchased, you will be liable for the cost of repairs should you wish to repair your product through Smiley Shoper.

Damaged/ incorrect items at the point of delivery

Log your return online. Once collected, the product will undergo an assessment and the correct item will be dispatched.

Promotional, free or bundled items that were part of a purchase must also be returned.

This policy excludes products for office use and only covers products for household use.

You're unable to claim if any defects with the items were caused by:

• lightning or power surges

• misuse or abuse to the goods

• use for a purpose other than the purpose for which the item was manufactured

• contrary use to the instruction manuals

• accidental damage

Items that you’re unable to return:

• Items protected by copyright law (Software, Games, CD’s etc.). If there is a manufacturing defect you can log a return provided they are still sealed and in a re-sellable condition.

• Custom orders will only be replaced if defective. Please ensure that measurements and specifications of custom made items are correct when ordering e.g. Mugs printing and more, as custom made orders cannot be refunded or exchanged if incorrect sizes or details were provided.

• Perishable products.

• Goods which are sold as (clearance items/ sale), damaged, defective, used or repaired, where Smiley Shoper disclosed these facts to you before you bought them.

• Swimwear, underwear, shavers, toothbrushes and other health, beauty and personal care items.

• Books.

• Cigarettes.

• Mattresses and mattress protectors.

Refunds

Once Smiley Shoper has assessed a returned item and approved as a refund, you will receive your money back in the same manner in which you made your purchase from us.

  • Credit card (by reversal back to your credit card and subject to banking delays)

  • Gift card
